CONCEPT ARTWORK

THE FAREWELL TOUR is still in development (though at the time of writing this we have a first draft of the script yippee!!) so here’s some of the artwork my partner and I have been cooking up for these two.

SCRIPT TEASER

INT. OPENING SCENE, BUZZKILL’S FINAL SHOW — EVENING
We open the scene to a few detail panels: a lead up from the wings to on-stage (any backstage character is some form of alien, that’s right, its a sci-fi baby). All we can hear is a massive crowd cheering.
A second panel cut to a poster of a certain BUZZKILL.

BUZZKILL [OP]
Alright everybody–ARE YOU READY TO ROCK??
The crowd goes wild as BUZZKILL strums his guitar, just a panel of his hands at first.

Then we finally get a shot of his face.

BUZZKILL
I SAID, “ARE YOU FUCKING. READY. TO. ROCK???”

The crowd goes insane as we get the title drop: THE FAREWELL TOUR — A WINDY & WALLFLOWER PRODUCTION.

BUZZKILL
Well alright then. LETS GET FUCKED. UP.

CUT TO: BUZZKILL is stepping off stage having played his heart out. He tosses his guitar at someone, forcing a grin before he heads to his dressing room. He plops down on the chair and we get a little look into his own impressions of the show. He looks Tired with a capital T. He looks into the mirror and starts scrubbing off his makeup even though the audience in the background is screaming for an encore.
